Creating Patterns from Scratch

Fresh track / full reset: Fn + Play while not recording: Clear Pattern Fn + Play while recording: Clear Track Pattern Fn + KBD C1: Menu to Clear Kit

Be careful with this as the implementation of kits means this will disrupt/alter patterns that use the same kit.

Tempo to 126

Track 1 - Bass

Meta adjustments: * Bring up scale page, advance mode, 64 steps * Note page/trig length to infinite

4 step sequence, step 1 of each page: F,G,D,C (or 4,5,2,1)

Unimportant Details, use your ears: Filter 1 moderate Freq (~70), light res (~20) Filter 2 type to LP2, Freq at max / open LFO1 tri wave, mul 32, tiny depth ~2, free Osc2 coarse tune (-8), moderate level (~85)

Track 2 - Lead

Noodle briefly for feel on 8,7,5,3,2 (C+1,B,G,E,D) Timed 9-note sequence: 8,3,4,7,5,6,1,2,4 (C+1,E,F,B,G,A,C,D,F)

Track 4 - Kick

Now we're off to the races. Rather than add an element via track 3...

Track 3 - SFX

Do some crazy LFO/Filter sfx squawking. Then switch back to track 1 and noodle with vibrato and sync settings. Mess with LFOs a bit, then back to Track 3 to load in C64 pads. Bring delay time down by half (to 24). Set some sound trigs for zap and atmo pad. Fade track 2 / lead out a bit via filter settings. Jump to track 1, set an arp, make LFO trigged, fiddle a bit. Mute drums and sfx. Filter fooling on track 1. Bring drums back. Go crazy with the arp on track 1 a minute, solo track 1, LFO mess, stop.
